Monthly update manual

Our monthly update is divided into different pages. Read the explanation per page below. 

Overview: A flying start 🌟

  • Total number of users: How many visitors your site has had. 
  • Bookings: The number of times someone has actually booked something via your site. 
  • Conversion rate: This number shows the percentage of your visitors that make a booking. Higher is better!
  • Total revenue: The total revenue that has come in from bookings.
  • Average amount per booking: How much an average booking generates. 
  • Avg. revenue per user: How much each user contributes on average to your revenue. A high value here means your users are valuable.

SEO: The organic search results 🌱

  • Search terms in top 10: The keywords for which your pages rank in Google's top 10. The more, the better!
  • Average position: Where you rank on average in search results. You want to be as close to number 1 as possible.
  • Bookings organic traffic: The number of bookings you received through free search traffic. 
  • Revenue organic traffic: How much money this free traffic has generated.

Google Ads: Paid traffic magic ✨

  • Bookings: Number of bookings via Google Ads. 
  • Total booking revenue: Total revenue from these bookings.
  • Total click costs: What you have spent on Ads. Good to know for your ROI.
  • ROAS (return on ad spend): How much you earn for every euro spent. Higher = better.
  • Cost percentage per booking & Avg. CPC (cost per click): How much it costs you to get a click or booking.

Social Media: The power of likes and followers ðŸ“±

  • Conversions & visitors from social media: How many people booked or visited your site through socials.
  • Advertising costs: What you have spent on social media ads.
  • Revenue & cost per conversion: The revenue from social media and what each conversion costs you.
  • Revenue per user & number of followers: How much each user generates and how large your fanbase is.

Newsletter: Your direct line with guests ðŸ’Œ

  • Website visitors & conversions from newsletter: How many people came to your site via the newsletter and booked a holiday.
  • Revenue: The total revenue from the newsletter campaign.
  • Open and click rates: How many people open your mail and click through. Super important for engagement!

Target Group: Who are your fans? ðŸ‘¥

  • Users & bookings per age group: Who visits your site and who actually books?
  • Average revenue per user: How much each age group spends on average.
