What's in a good departure notification?
To show that you appreciate your guests for stopping by, a departure notification is an important addition. This makes it easy to ask how they experienced the vacation! We often add a happy, neutral and less happy emoticon that people can click on:

If one was satisfied with the vacation they can leave a review directly, if one has complaints or was just in between they have the option to email the reception directly. The latter aspect ensures that you are well informed about possible points of improvement and someone is less likely to leave a negative review. Mentioning your social media channels is also a real must-have for the departure notification; we encourage your guests to follow you, so that you remain in their thoughts for a next vacation! Finally, it's useful to ask if your guests took any fun vacation photos. You can share these 'spontaneous' photos on your own social media. This 'user generated content' will also appeal to other (potential) guests.
